Programme objectives

The Master’s programme in Safety and Hazard Defence continues and extends the focal areas of study from the Bachelor’s programme of the same name: Students become qualified to carry out a variety of roles in the fields of safety and hazard prevention.

The course extends their expertise in theoretical and technical fields and in safety management and risk avoidance. For this purpose the course of studies equips the students for practice and research, thus enabling graduates to access a large number of job openings in the safety sector on completion of their studies.

A further objective of this Master's programme is to become equipped to apply scientific methods and to independently master the demands of a wide range of professional roles in applied practice, research or teaching.
