Late Summer School
The Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences would like to give you, as a new student at our institution, a good start to your studies by offering a Late Summer School two weeks prior to the beginning of the winter semester in Magdeburg and one week in Stendal.
It combines preparation courses for your studies, information events, project work, excursions and fun. Apart from subjectbased courses, there will be a welcoming BBQ, mutual sports activities, a guided tour of the campus and a first taste of student nightlife.
Please note: The full information is currently only available in German.

In the following days you will visit the subject-based courses in the morning. The interdisciplinary courses and projects as well as leisure and social activities will take place in the afternoon. Of course, there will be enough time for things like apartment hunting and visits to the authorities, too. At the Saturdays, there will be excursions which can be of touristic or academic nature.
International exchange students will be awarded 3 ECTS credits for participating in the intensive German language course and passing the final exam.
Online registration is required for certain Late Summer School activities (personal skills, leisure activities, project work and treasure hunt); these are marked accordingly. This will enable us to make effective preparations for the Late Summer School.
