Department of Water, Environment, Construction and Safety

In the Department of Water, Environment, Construction and Safety, engineering and natural science subjects combine to create study programmes such as Civil Engineering, Water Management, Recycling and Waste Management or the unique course in Safety and Hazard Defense. As the only academic institution in Saxony-Anhalt for engineers in these fields of study, the department is an important partner when it comes to training the new generation of skilled workers and managers. Furthermore, scientific services and research projects are put into practice with regional, national and international partners.

The Department of Water, Environment, Construction and Safety has been in existence since October 2015 and came about through the merger of two former departments, Civil Engineering and Water & Waste Management.
