General information on the EU programme Erasmus+

The new EU program for education, training, youth and sport, which was launched on January 1, 2014, is called Erasmus+. It replaced the Lifelong Learning Program, Youth in Action, and the EU international higher education programs with third countries.

European Policy 2021-2027: Institutional Statement and ECHE

Any higher education institution wishing to participate in Erasmus+, as the EU program for education, training, youth and sport, must have a valid Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE).The ECHE is awarded by the European Commission. It proves that a higher education institution meets all the requirements for successful participation in the Erasmus+ program.Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences has again been awarded an Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the years 2021 to 2027.

Key Action 1 - Learning Mobility of Individuals

University members who are interested in a stay (e.g. study, internship or training) in another European country can apply for funding through Erasmus+.
